Jazz Sundays are continuing at Ollie Vee's, throughout October.
Owner Billie Littlechild has upgraded the external seating area to include more cover, and will be investing in outside heaters to ensure people are warm enough.
To ensure social distancing there will be a cap on audience numbers..
There will be no advance ticketing but we will be applying a music charge on the day with a suggested minimum donation of £10 per person, which will go directly to the musicians. You're welcome to contribute more, should you feel inclined. As you are probably aware, most musicians' livelihoods have been adversely impacted since lockdown began, with the cancellation of all live performances, so your generosity would be appreciated!
Payments will be accepted in cash only.
In order that the event can be managed efficiently you are invited to book in advance, with entrance guaranteed, providing you arrive on time. You're welcome to turn up before - Ollie Vee's will open at midday.
Please send us a message via our CONTACT PAGE if you'd like to reserve, with an indication of how many are likely to be in your party.

Tina May (vocals), Karen Street (accordion) and Arnie Somogyi (bass)
Tina May is one of the UK’s finest jazz vocalists and has been at the forefront of the jazz scene for over twenty years. Her introduction to jazz started during her university days in Cardiff and Paris when she also developed her theatrical bent for comedy reviews, performing with Rory Bremner. Tina however, concentrated on her musical aspirations and singing jazz for a living.
She performs at leading venues in the UK and Europe, including headline appearances at Ronnie Scott's.
Karen Street is one of the UK’s most well known and respected accordionists, she is also highly regarded as a saxophonist and as a composer for both instruments.
Although she has a background in classical music she branched out into jazz and other genres early in career and is now a highly accomplished and experienced musician. Her passion has always been to challenge people’s preconceptions of the much maligned accordion.
